Spring Semester Recap

This week marks the end of another great semester for AEPi Eta Sigma. In January we welcomed 11 new brothers into our fraternity, and soon after we sent executive board members Jordan Cynewski and Matty Bernstein to AEPi’s annual mid-Atlantic conclave at James Madison University. The next two months included a two-day brotherhood retreat in rural Virginia, local AEPi events at AIPAC Policy Conference and at the Bulgarian Embassy, and several successful philanthropic efforts including our first-ever blood drive which collected enough blood to save over 90 lives. Our chapter was also a top-ten team at this year’s Relay for Life, raising over $4,000 for the American Cancer Society, and we were an official cosponsor of GU Take Back the Night Week, which is a series of events aimed at preventing sexual assault by raising awareness and educating our community. We closed the semester with spring elections, Georgetown Day, and a formal, all bringing brothers together to celebrate a great semester. Thanks to our executive board, minor board, AEPi nationals, and all who contributed to our brotherhood over the last few months!
