About Rush:
At the beginning of every semester, we host a rush process in which we actively search for men who can add to the legacy that is AEPi Georgetown. During rush, everyone is welcome to come out to fun events to meet the brothers of our fraternity – it's an opportunity for you to get to know the brothers and for us to get to know you. Rushing is not an obligation to join, but we do look for men who embody the virtues and values of AEPi Georgetown. Below are some reasons why you should consider rushing AEPi Georgetown.

Co-Curriculars
In addition to being members of AEPi Georgetown, many of our brothers are involved with other prominent organizations on and off campus. When you join AEPi, you not only get access to a rich brotherhood, but also the opportunity to get a leg up when applying for clubs that brothers are apart of. Below are a few of the organizations that current brothers belong to:
Alumni Network
With over 500 alumni and in a vast array of fields, there is no shortage of brothers who are willing to assist you in your job or internship search. Below are a few of the organizations that AEPi Georgetown brothers joined after graduation:
Social Events
AEPi is proud to host some of the best social events, both on campus and off. With brothers living on the Vil A Rooftop, four Vil B apartments and five off-campus townhouses, we have access to more hosting locations that any other fraternity at Georgetown. Some of our past events include darties for Homecoming and St. Patrick’s Day, nightclub events at L8 and Koi, and bar events at Grand Central and Exiles.
Brotherhood
When joining AEPi Georgetown, you are making a commitment that lasts a lifetime. The devotion to our brotherhood has helped us become the most devoted fraternity on campus, and has allowed us to be as close as ever even as our numbers have risen. In order to enhance this deep connection, we host a number of brother-only events during the year, including football watch parties, fraternity olympics, 3v3 basketball leagues and much more.
Retreat
At least once a year, the entire fraternity goes on a weekend-long retreat to take a break from campus life, a tradition that is the favorite event of the year for most brothers. Last spring, the fraternity rented a beautiful house in the mountains of northwestern Virginia, and 80 brothers spent the weekend hiking, swimming, playing basketball and relaxing.
Formals
Each semester before finals, the fraternity comes together for a formal date night. We spare no expense for formal, preparing fun pre-games and renting out exclusive venues. Last semester, we had our formal at the St. Yves nightclub near Dupont Circle, with past formals taking place at clubs such as Abigail and Capo Backroom.
Philanthropy
In order to give back to the greater Georgetown community, we sponsor a number of philanthropic events throughout the year, raising thousands of dollars for local charities. Some of our past events include AEPie in the face, which raised money for the Children’s Miracle Network, and AEPuppies, which raised funds for the American Cancer Society.
